Updates
I can’t believe my last blog post was the 9th August. Each week “Write a blog” has been on my to-do list, and then it gets bumped down by marginally more important “dos”; “iron shirt”, “pack case” and “add more things to list”. So, I am sorry about that. I really am. I hope you can find it in your big beautiful heart to forgive me?
I’ve been all over the place at the moment. I’m currently onboard P&O Iona in Cádiz, waiting for my lift to the airport back home, where I will be for just a few days before heading off on my biggest stint of the year: 3 ships in a row. Bam Bam Bam. Arcadia. Britannia, Arvia, then home, for Xmas. It’s been, and will continue to be until Xmas, a lot! I’m lucky that I have very understanding people in my life. I don’t have the sort of lifestyle where someone can call me and say “Fancy a pint tonight Jon?”. Tonight? Are you kidding me?! I need to schedule in my “spontaneous” pints about 2 months in advance at the moment. But hey, the game is the game.
Next year things are shaping up really nicely, and will be a little different than this year, in the sense that I will be doing less cruise ships (don’t worry, I’m still doing quite a lot!), and more gigs on terra firma. Talking of which, my 2026 tour starts on the 11th March, and tickets for a few venues are on sale already. So I suggest you book some tickets now, and then by the time it gets around to it, it’ll feel free!
So far tickets are on sale for:
Please book a ticket (or loads of tickets) and spread the word. If you know someone near those places, suggest the show. It’s hard enough convincing people to come to a juggling show as it is, but if you recommend me, that goes a million miles and I will think that you are just super cool!
In other news, I’ve update my merchandise page so you can now order books and teacups directly from me. Which means if you would like a signed but, with a personalised note (or drawing!) then we can make that happen. Just get in touch.
Ok that’s all from ol’ blabbermouth over here. Non-stop sometimes. Just don’t know when to shut it. I hope you have a lovely day wherever you are. I hope it’s nice weather. Enjoy that biscuit. Maybe spag bol for dinner? It’s an option. Bye for now!
